Grand Rule:

This is not a sanctioned IRC channel, however, the rules of the Camarilla handbook and Black Swamp Domain VSS Requiem are in full effect.

IC Information:

The IC location is a private club in Maumee, Ohio. It is owned by Prince Francisco Romero and is considered his personal domain, but he has invited any Kindred of his area to travel there whenever they wish to meet and talk. There is at least one retainer of the Prince there at all times and will assist those who decide to get rowdy in leaving the facility. For game purposes and to make the channel more available to all, it's location will continuously be considered "night". You may go there without worry of sunlight or staying awake. We realize this creates some complications with IC timing, but we ask that all plays "roll with it". Not everyone can be up until 3:00am in real life just so they can role-play their PC. The club has private rooms available for conversations, these will equivocate to private messages you send to people. If an ST asks for a copy of your private messages, you are required to give them.

Traveling to and from the "club" is considered Soft RP unless all parties involved WANT an ST present to run challenges and agree to the ST's ruling. In order to run any challenges of any kind, an ST MUST be present. Players are also not allowed to freeze a scene to wait for an ST to log on.

Spying through technological gadgetry such as bugs, taps, etc. as well as discipline use (mist form, subsume the spirit, twilight projections, etc.) requires ST and Channel Officer approval. However, approval on such things is unlikely and will always be met with IC consequences if caught. Keep in mind ICly that the club and the nearby parameter is heavily patrolled by hounds and other Prince security.

Character restrictions:

All characters sanctioned for play within the Vampire venue and are acknowledged members of the Black Swamp Domain's VSS are permitted for play. This is strictly enforced, and those caught in the channel without the proper Infiltration approvals will be banned. Visiting characters on Proxy are also welcome to join the channel with prior VST approval. It is assumed that if the VST approves your Proxy, they approve your IRC interaction for as long as your character stays.

Other Characters:

NPCs, Cross-Venues, Infiltrators, etc. all need to be pre-approved by the Channel Officer (Stephanie Williams), the appropriate VSTs and the DST.

OOC Information:

This is a Soft Role-Play channel only. Challenges are not allowed. This room is IC only. Only ST staff are welcome to lurk OOCly and they must tag their nick (example: StephanieOOC, JamesOOC). If you need to make an OOC comment, please place OOC: prior to your sentence. Please keep OOC communication to a bare minimum, take it to private messages if you need to. If the VST Requiem is around and two or more players wish to run challenges, they may do so after getting the VST's permission. (example: Richard and S want to step outside and throw down. They ask the VST Requiem to run the scene, they agree and the scene is ran with ST arbitration) This is a great way to run downtime scenes requiring only the permission of the VST and the agreement of all characters involved. All Dice Rolls made in the room are considered OOC and are to be ignored from IC interaction.

Basic Rules:

Players are required to be members of the White Wolf fan club and must provide information to Coordinator or ST staff upon request. The information requested can include, but is not limited to, member name, membership number, contact info, etc.

Spamming or flooding the channel is not allowed. Remember that ICly you are in a club run by the Prince. Other basic Netiquette applies.
